Lydia is an artist from Gippsland in Victoria, Australia.
Working predominantly in pen, ink and digital, Lydia creates whimsical characters and colourful pieces inspired by popular culture, fashion, vintage design and all things cute.
Lydia originally studied fashion and textiles and went on to create her own label called Chubby Turtle featuring garments hand screenprinted with her illustrations. After some small success with Chubby Turtle, Lydia decided move on and focus more on her art, fabric design and developing her personal style.
Lydia's work has been featured in Louis Joel Gallery's 'It's ART:WEAR IT' exhibitions and publications such as Six Years Later magazine and Gems zine. She was also featured at Schmiedeweihnacht (Christmas Market) in Ybbsitz, Austria.
Lydia also enjoys having stalls at Supanova Expo, Oz Comic Con and local art markets.
